Bank-level Security

When we started building Saveboost, one of the first question we asked ourselves was how can we build a service that we would trust and use. Every initial decision was made thinking about we as users and how we would like to have our data treated. This made us design our system having your privacy and security as our top priority.

We don't store any data we don't need in order to provide you the service. We don't sell, share or use your data without your permission. We use Facebook Messenger only for communication with you. Facebook does not have access to your bank account credentials.

We don't store your debit card information and this is never sent to our servers. We just get an encrypted token. We only have a read-only access to your transaction data and you can always revoke this access via our app or by unsubscribing for our service. You can always close your Saveboost account by sending an email to or via the Saveboost bot.

We use 256-bit TSL encryption for our website and all services communication and databases. That's the same level of security used by the best banks worldwide. We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host our service. A secure online data storage and hosting service that is also used by the US Department of Defense and NASA. All our servers, services and applications are scanned and patched regularly in order to reduce known risks and vulnerabilities.

We use Facebook OAuth, an secure authentication protocol to connect with Facebook Messenger. We also use Auth0 for user authentication. All their network communication uses TLS with at least 128-bit AES encryption. The connection uses TLS v1.2, and it is encrypted and authenticated using AES_128_GCM and uses ECDHE_RSA as the key exchange mechanism.

We comply with the LOPD, following the Spanish regulation, one of the most stricts on user privacy and data protection.

We don't have direct access to your money saved in Saveboost. Your money is yours and you have full control of it. Your money is saved in a secure bank account controlled by a regulated Payment Institution.
